Be sure to take care of your GLACIAL bottle and make it last for a long time. Here are some advice how to maintain your bottle in good shape and what to avoid. Before you start using it rinse the bottle and cap with detergent and warm water. We do not recommend washing the bottle in the dishwasher as this may impair the insulation ability. Wash the bottle with warm water and detergent, you can use a regular dish brush or shake it with warm water and detergent. Do not place the bottle in the freezer because the bottle is insulated, you will not be able to cool the water in this way, instead, place some ice cubes in the bottle if you want cooler water. Do not heat the bottle on the stove or over the open flame. The insulation in the bottle will prevent you from heating the liquid in this manner and the bottle may also be damaged during heating. Do not use strong chemicals such as bleach or chlorine on or in your bottle as this may cause your bottle to start to rust.
